Annapurna Base Camp is the most popular trekking trail in Nepal. Thousands of foreigners trek to the area every  year,  thanks to easy accessibility, lower altitude and good  facilities along the trail.Breathtaking mountain views, amazing sceneries and the hospitable local people are the main attractions of this trail. The main attraction of the trail is the Annapurna Sanctuary which offers 360-degree mountain views. The villages of Chhomrong, Bamboo and Himalaya Hotel are always welcoming. The trail is brimming with trekkers during two main seasons of Nepal. However, there are some people who do the trek in winter season as well.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300 m).

Welcome to Nepal. Our representative will pick up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the remainder of the day in your hotel to get rid of jet lag.  In the evening, you can take a   stroll in the streets of         Thamel. Before dinner, meet your guide and attend a short trek briefing. O/N: Hotel

Day 2: Fly to Pokhara (827 m), drive to Nayapul; and trek to Ghandruk (1940 m) — Approx 5 hrs.

We hit the trekking trail on Day 2 itself. Catch an early morning flight to Pokhara. The short pleasing flight of about half an hour offers you great view of mountain peaks on your north. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, board a waiting    car and drive to Nayapul — the starting point of your trek. The drive takes about two hours. Meet your trekking crew, arrange you loads and start hiking right away. After a short walk from Nayapul, we reach a small market of Birethanti
which is seated on the confluence of two rivers. After showing our permits, we take the right trail and start walking toward Ghandruk. The walk takes around 5 hours. Ghandruk is a beautiful village on the Annapurna Base Camp trail known for the friendly Gurung people and the magnificent mountain views.O/N: Lodge

Day 3: Trek to Chhomrong (2170 m) — Approx 5-6 hours.

We begin our walk after breakfast. A climb for around an hour from here will take us to Kirmung Danda. On the way, we can enjoy morning views of mountain peaks like Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Fishtail and Gangapurna. The trail is downhill from here until Kimrong Khola. A steep climb from Kimrung Khola will take us to Chere Danda. We make a short descent, and the trail is more or less easy until Chhomrong. Chhomrong is a beautiful village lying on the lap of the beautiful Annapurna massif. O/N: Lodge

Day 4: Trek to Bamboo (3230 m) — Approx 4-5 hrs.

From Chhomrong, we descent to Chomrong Khola via the famed 2500-stone steps. Crossing the river on a suspension bridge, we start climbing again to the village of Sinuwa. After Sinuwa, the  trail passes through the  beautiful Kuldihar forest. From here, it is an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. O/N: Lodge

Day 5: Trek to Deurali (3230 m) — Approx 4 hrs.

It will be a short  day. But  we won’t haste as we are  approaching  higher  altitude. The trail today passes  through a bamboo forest. It,  however, needs steep  climb in some  sections. The forest  opens up only after we reach Himalaya Hotel. From here, we can get fascinating views of glacier-fed river below. From here, we make a steep climb through a drier forest to reach Hinku cave. Continuing our walk, the trail drops to the riverbed before climbing again to Deurali. This ispossibly the most scenic section of the trail. Vegetation is sparse, but view of the valley is breathtaking. Rising above the river are rock-face cliffs cut in many places by waterfalls.O/N: Deurali

Day 6: Trek to Annapurna BC (4,130 m) via Machhapuchhre BC (3700 m) — Approx 5-6 hrs.

We will be reaching to our destination today. As usual, we start our walk after breakfast. The trail climbs through the riverbed and takes a steep route over to the mountains. The hike   from Bagar,  which      translates into   riverbed , to Machhapuchhre BC is tiring. But views we get from the base-camp is rewarding and worth it. We can enjoy beautiful views of    Machhapuchhre,     Himchuli,   Annapurna South,    Annapurna I,    Annapurna III,   Gangapurna  and Gandharvachuli, among others. We continue our walk to Annapurna Base Camp. The path widens a bit and vegetation
disappears. Annapurna Base Camp offers vertical view of the south face  of Annapurna , towering right above us.  The base camp is a beautiful sanctuary, offering us 360-degree mountain views. We can mountains like Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre and Himchuli, among other peaks, all arounds. We will spend a night at the base camp.
O/N: Lodge

Day 7: Trek to Bamboo — Approx 7-8 hrs.

Day 8: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760 m) — Approx 6 hrs.

From Bamboo, the walk is  uphill until the  Kuldighar forest. Then it is mostly downhill to Chhomrong Khola.  After crossing the river on a suspension bridge, the trail is uphill until Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, it descends to Jhinu Danda our destination for the day. After checking into our lodge, we can relax in the natural hot springs. O/N: Lodge

Day 9: Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara.

This is going to be the last day of our trek. We resume our walk after breakfast. Settlements look bigger now as we are into the mid-hills. Walk to Nayapul takes about six hours or so. Upon arrival in Nayapul, board a waiting car and start driving toward Pokhara. In Pokhara, check into your hotel. Rest   of the time is  free for independent  activities. In the evening, enjoy the ambience of the Lakeside. O/N: Hotel
