Day 1: Arrival.

 

Our representative will welcome you at the airport and escort you to your hotel in Thamel – the   tourist    hot spot in Kathmandu Valley. Spend the remainder of the day in the hotel. You can also take a stroll in the neighborhood. In the evening, visit a nearby pub for live music session to unwind yourself. Accommodation in a hotel.

 

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing.

 

After breakfast, we will begin the day with a visit to Swoyambunath Stupa. It is one of the most   important   Buddhist monuments in Kathmandu Valley and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is popular among foreign tourists as Monkey Temple, thanks to the abundance of monkeys in the nearby forest. Then we will visit the Pashupatinath Temple area – another UNESCO World Heritage site. Pay homage to the god and explore the surrounding. We will then move toward the famous Bouddhanath Stupa. The stupa that sits on probably the biggest  mandalas   in   the   world   is a      UNESCO World Heritage site.       Circumnavigate   the  prayers  wheels   along   with   other   pilgrims.   After   lunch,   we travel to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Bhaktapur Durbar Square – a UNESCO   World Heritage site – is a repository of medieval crafts, art and culture. Visit the 55-window palace, Dattatreya   Temple,   Nyatapola and the pottery square. Return to your hotel. Accommodation in a hotel.

 

Day 3: Kathmandu-Pokhara.

 

After breakfast, get on a private car for a scenic drive to Pokhara. The road  passes along   Trishuli   and Marshyangdi Rivers. Stop for a lunch at a highway restaurant. The highway passes through beautiful roadside bazaars like Malekhu, Mugling and Damauli before reaching Pokhara,  crossing the   Bijayapur River.   The   journey   takes   around 7 hours. Check  into   your   hotel. In the   afternoon,   take a   stroll in the   Lakeside area   or visit   pubs/lounges for live music. Accommodation in a hotel.

 

Day 4: Pokhara sightseeing.

 

Start early in the morning to watch sunrise from Sarangkot – a famous fort of the Sen kings. The view of snow-capped mountains glittering in the morning sun is simply   magnificent. Visit   Mahendra cave   and the   Bindabasini  Temple before heading to the Seti River gorge. You can see the mighty Seti River raging   hundreds   of feet   below   you in the form of a narrow canal. The river is so fierce that it is eroding its banks and bed even today. Visit the Davi’s   Fall,   pay homage to Lord Shiva and Gupteshwar cave, and drive to World Peace Stupa to enjoy bird’s eye view of the Fewa Lake and the Lakeside area as well as mountain views. Visit   some pubs in the   evening for live  music.   Accommodation at hotel.

 

Day 5: Drive back to Kathmandu and travel to Nagarkot.

 

Early in the morning, visit World Peace Stupa that sits on a small hill overlooking the Pokhara Valley. Mountain views from the place is amazing. Return to the   hotel, have    breakfast    and depart to    Kathmandu. Drive to Nagarkot – a popular hill station. Check in the hotel. Accommodation in a hotel.

 

Day 6: Full Day sightseeing.

 

Wake up early in the morning to watch the sun rise above  the green   hills. See the    mountains glitter orange in the morning sun. After   breakfast, drive back to   Kathmandu Valley.   Visit Patan   Durbar Square – a    UNESCO World Heritage site – where you can see cultural grandeur of the Malla era. You can also experience culture and lifestyle of the Newars – the indigenous group of the Kathmandu Valley. Drive to Budhanilkantha famous for a large stone statue of Lord Vishnu sleeping on a bed of serpents. Return to your hotel. Take a   short stroll in   the   neighborhood or visit local restaurants for typical Nepali dinner. Accommodation at a hotel.

 

Day 7: Departure.

 

Our representative will transfer you to the airport three hours before your flight so that you don’t have to rush to complete customs formalities.
